Vishal Chopra joined the organisation as Chief Policy & Regulatory Officer in January 2026.

In this role, he leads the company’s regulatory strategy and policy advocacy, working closely with government authorities and industry stakeholders to drive policy reforms in the oil and gas sector. He also focuses on aligning the organisation with evolving energy sector regulations while safeguarding long-term business interests.

With over 27 years of experience across the energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, and renewables sectors, Vishal brings deep expertise in corporate affairs and regulatory strategy. Earlier, he has held senior leadership roles at Nayara Energy Ltd. and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL).

Vishal holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
