Subhadeep Khan joined Cairn Oil & Gas as Chief Human Resources Officer, in December 2024.

Subhadeep brings a rich experience of over 20 years in the Vedanta management and business leadership roles. As Cairn’s CHRO, his priority is to drive transformational initiatives towards strengthening Cairn as an organisation while consolidating business partners. Subhadeep will focus on bringing experts from the global oil and gas industry while also driving internal growth through developmental interventions.

He has built, managed and led high performing teams by handling multiple domains of Human Resources operations, strategic growth projects, digitisation of operations to increase volumes and reduce cost, resulting in growth. Prior to Vedanta, he had a short stint in Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL).

Subhadeep completed his Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal and thereafter his Executive Post Graduation from IIM Raipur. He has also completed Executive Development Program in HR from XLRI Jamshedpur.
