Jasmin is a seasoned Oil & Gas leader with over 25 years of proven track record in project delivery, asset management, operational excellence, and production strategy. His expertise in establishing management frameworks and optimising production systems across various assets is central to Cairn’s vision of contributing 50% of India’s crude oil production.

At Cairn, as the Chief Operating Officer, Jasmin leads the Cairn Management Committee and oversees prolific assets with an extensive portfolio while managing all of our operating blocks located in Rajasthan, North East, Gujarat, the West and East Coasts of India. Prior to this, Jasmin served as SBU Director – RJ North at Cairn.

His career includes impactful tenures at organisations such as MOL, OMV, Petrom, Gesium Oil, PML Ltd and JV KAM. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from Belgrade University.
